Three different resources help you manage your IAM policy for Biglake IcebergTable. Each of these resources serves a different use case:
gcp.biglake.IcebergTableIamPolicy: Authoritative. Sets the IAM policy for the icebergtable and replaces any existing policy already attached.gcp.biglake.IcebergTableIamBinding: Authoritative for a given role. Updates the IAM policy to grant a role to a list of members. Other roles within the IAM policy for the icebergtable are preserved.gcp.biglake.IcebergTableIamMember: Non-authoritative. Updates the IAM policy to grant a role to a new member. Other members for the role for the icebergtable are preserved.
A data source can be used to retrieve policy data in advent you do not need creation
gcp.biglake.IcebergTableIamPolicy: Retrieves the IAM policy for the icebergtable
Note:
gcp.biglake.IcebergTableIamPolicycannot be used in conjunction withgcp.biglake.IcebergTableIamBindingandgcp.biglake.IcebergTableIamMemberor they will fight over what your policy should be.
Note:
gcp.biglake.IcebergTableIamBindingresources can be used in conjunction withgcp.biglake.IcebergTableIamMemberresources only if they do not grant privilege to the same role.
## gcp.biglake.IcebergTableIamPolicy
Import
For all import syntaxes, the “resource in question” can take any of the following forms:
- projects/{{project}}/catalogs/{{catalog}}/namespaces/{{namespace}}/tables/{{name}}
- {{project}}/{{catalog}}/{{namespace}}/{{name}}
- {{catalog}}/{{namespace}}/{{name}}
- {{name}}
Any variables not passed in the import command will be taken from the provider configuration.
Biglake icebergtable IAM resources can be imported using the resource identifiers, role, and member.
IAM member imports use space-delimited identifiers: the resource in question, the role, and the member identity, e.g.
$ terraform import google_biglake_iceberg_table_iam_member.editor "projects/{{project}}/catalogs/{{catalog}}/namespaces/{{namespace}}/tables/{{iceberg_table}} roles/biglake.editor user:jane@example.com"
IAM binding imports use space-delimited identifiers: the resource in question and the role, e.g.
$ terraform import google_biglake_iceberg_table_iam_binding.editor "projects/{{project}}/catalogs/{{catalog}}/namespaces/{{namespace}}/tables/{{iceberg_table}} roles/biglake.editor"
IAM policy imports use the identifier of the resource in question, e.g.
$ pulumi import gcp:biglake/icebergTableIamPolicy:IcebergTableIamPolicy editor projects/{{project}}/catalogs/{{catalog}}/namespaces/{{namespace}}/tables/{{iceberg_table}}
Custom Roles If you’re importing a IAM resource with a custom role, make sure to use the full name of the custom role, e.g.
[projects/my-project|organizations/my-org]/roles/my-custom-role.

To learn more about resource properties and how to use them, see Inputs and Outputs in the Architecture and Concepts docs.
Inputs
In Python, inputs that are objects can be passed either as argument classes or as dictionary literals.
The IcebergTableIamPolicy resource accepts the following input properties:

- The name of the IcebergCatalog. Used to find the parent resource to bind the IAM policy to
